Scoots new Dreamliner jets off from Perth

first_imgPerth Airport Pty Ltd today welcomed Scoot’s brand new Dreamliner 787-900 aircraft to Terminal 1, the aircraft is the first Dreamliner service to be operated by Scoot in the Australian market.Scoot introduced its Perth services in December 2013 and since Scoot has significantly stimulated the Singapore market, with Singapore becoming Western Australia’s second biggest international visitor market.Singapore to Perth is now the largest sector destination operating out of Perth, and Australia’s eighth busiest international route.The new Dreamliner 787-900 will offer passengers the choice to fly in one of the 375 seats in either Economy or the all leather, premium ScootBiz.Perth Airport chief executive officer Brad Geatches, said that Singapore is a convenient destination for Western Australians, so the larger Dreamliner aircraft will fit well.“We are delighted that Scoot chose Perth-Singapore as the route for its first Dreamliner 787-900 service.  The daily services are proving to be very popular, and customers now have the option to travel on one of the world’s quietest and most modern aircraft,” Mr Geatches said.Scoot also flies from Singapore to Hong Kong, Bangkok, Taipei and three destinations in mainland China.The airline partners with Tigerair Singapore to add to its network, with destinations spread throughout the South-east Asian region including emerging destinations like Manila and Ho Chi Minh.Source = ETB Travel News: Lewis Wisemanlast_img
